A LOT has happened

Since my slack dad last posted a lot has happened indeed.  The biggest highlight was spending Christmas & New Years in Costa Rica.  But I’ll catch up on all that in due time.  Lets start with the present day.   Today is Wednesday, Wacky Hair Day & check out my do…

after school I had a “playdate” with my backyard neighbor Bennet and tonight I have ballet/dance while Thomas hangs out with Gee & Pop for the night.IMG_7343.jpeg

Boo! Its Halloween

A lot has happened since the last post.  Mommy turned thirty something and Sylvia & Shawna came to help us celebrate after the trunk or Treat at St James.  Some other highlights from the past couple weeks were bird crafts, car washing (daddy’s), pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, Gael’s birthday, and a lot of playing.

Halloween starts at 5:00 at the neighbors house and we’re all super excited about  trick or treating.  When Thomas puts on his Batman or Superman costume he thinks he IS Batman or Superman…  which makes things a little confusing when we run into another Batman or Superman…  we reassure him that he’s the REAL one.

Starting over from scratch

All the previous content that was this site was lost when my card expired & the WordPress payment didn’t go through.  So I’m starting over.  Its Fall 2017.  Orietta is a couple months into first grade & Thomas is enjoying what may be his last fall free.  Ever.

The purpose of this site is so that I can go back and recall some of these special little moments.  This will not be an attempt to record every memorable moment going forward.   But it will be a rough sketch of this time we’re living in.  Its the little moments more than the big trips and “special occasions” that make up what becomes a feeling when you look back.  The silly jokes and special places – like the room where the invisible wolves live.  Which ones are scarier? the baby ones or the teenage ones or the adult ones?  I forget.  So I’m keeping this journal to remember important things like that.

It’s also so that loved ones who are far away can feel a little bit closer.

Maybe Etta will want to take it over and start adding her own content.
